Tcha and Jean’s QuartetDepuis leur rencontre en 2008 en Transylvanie, Tcha Limberger et Jean-Christophe Gairard ont tissé une relation musicale intime fondée sur leur passion commune pour le violon, et précisément le style de violon que l’on joue chez les Hongrois et chez les Roumains de Transylvanie. Ils raviveront sur scène tous ces instants musicaux partagés, l’occasion d’écouter ensemble tout ce que ces deux musiciens ont à se dire, et à nous dire.

Tcha Limberger, violoniste mais aussi multi-instrumentiste et chanteur exceptionnel, est une figure emblématique reconnue dans les mondes du jazz et des musiques traditionnelles. Lauréat de nombreux prix internationaux, il marque de son empreinte la scène musicale mondiale. Il collabore/a collaboré notamment avec Jordi Savall, Stochelo Rosenberg, Angelo Debarre, Fabrizio Cassol, Sebastien Giniaux, Roby Lakatos, Evan Christopher, Fapy Lafertin, Petar Ralchev ou Lorenzo Gatto.Une Connexion Musicale Profonde en Transylvanie
En 2008, Jean-Christophe Gairard a eu la chance de croiser la route de Tcha Limberger à Cluj, tandis que ce dernier résidait à Aluni?u, près de Huedin. Cette rencontre a été la porte d’entrée vers un univers musical captivant. Grâce à Tcha, Jean-Christophe a eu l’honneur de rencontrer Marcel Râmba à Beica de Jos, près de Reghin, un violoniste emblématique de la région d’Ardeal. Ainsi a commencé une exploration musicale riche et profonde, ancrée dans les traditions de cette terre mythique. C’est grâce à la générosité de ses deux maîtres violonistes que Jean-Christophe a forgé la singularité de son jeu et de son approche musicale.A propos de Vilmos Csikos et Benjamin Clément
Vilmos Csikos, né à Budapest, est un fabuleux contrebassiste dont le son, à la fois à l’archet et en pizzicato, est inégalé. Il a joué avec des grands noms de la musique tzigane hongroise tels que Jaroka Sandor, Boross Lajos, Robi Lakatos, etc. Il a également participé à des projets tels que le Budapest Gipsy Orchestra de Tcha Limberger, I Silenti, et bien d’autres.Benjamin Clement, de Bruxelles, est un guitariste qui domine un répertoire d’une rare ampleur et dans une grande variété de styles, tels que la musique de Django Reinhardt, les styles traditionnels grecs, bulgares, roumains, transylvaniens, etc. On le retrouve dans le Tatavla trio (formation grecque de Tcha), le Renaud Dardenne trio, le Danube Express, et de nombreux autres groupes.————————–

Vilmos Csikos, geboren in Boedapest, is een fantastische contrabassist wiens geluid zowel met de strijkstok als pizzicato ongeëvenaard is. Hij heeft gespeeld met grootheden uit de Hongaarse zigeunermuziek zoals Jaroka Sandor, Boross Lajos, Robi Lakatos, enzovoort. Hij heeft ook deelgenomen aan projecten zoals Tcha Limberger’s Budapest Gipsy Orchestra, I Silenti en vele anderen.
Benjamin Clement, uit Brussel, is een gitarist met een uitgebreide kennis van repertoire en een breed scala aan stijlen, zoals de muziek van Django Reinhardt, Griekse traditionele stijlen, Bulgaarse, Roemeense, Transsylvanische, enzovoort.
